1.) What Essay you chose and why.
I chose my exemplification essay for my portfolio because I think it demonstrates my strengths and weaknesses. I think that my exemplification essay shows intelligent uses of personal examples and observations as support for my argument. I also believe that this essay shows my lack of using outside sources, which can be difficult for me sometimes.
2.) What portfolio grade you think you should receive and why.
I believe I should get a B because I made good improvements on my research paper and reflected clearly on my journey through English throughout my reflective paper. I really tried to revise my research paper to fill some of the logical holes I previously hadn't realized I was working off of. Also I found more sources to support my argument and I reviewed Purdue Owl in order to precisely cite sources.
3.) Your favorite portfolio you looked at and why.
I'm not really sure how to answer this considering I haven't read everyone's portfolio. I liked Will Neilsen's portfolio because I enjoyed his topics, I hadn't heard of biocentrism at all and felt intrigued by that essay, particularly the phrase, "reality changes just by looking at it." I also liked his essay which compared the learning and creating differences between electronic and non-electronic music. I didn't get a chance to read his reflective essay because he had already handed it in by the time I asked him.
